Hi. I'm Dagenham Dave who I am sure some of you will know. My first Hawkwind gig was at the Sundown, Mile End, in London, probably 1971 and I have seen them countless times since. The free gig in Harlow (Essex) park was probably the most memorable, though other gigs at the Edmonton Sundown and Wembley stick firmly in my mind. I have multiple favourite tracks, Brainstorm, Master Of The Universe, Born To Go, Psi Power (especially the acoustic version), Spirit of the Age, and many more. Looking forward to the gig at Alexandra Palace on 26th May. I'm 75 now and not in the best of health so I guess its thelast time I will see you. Give me a good send off. Excellent gig tonight in Liverpool from the band on top form. Took my 24 year old son and his girlfriend who had never heard anything by the band before and they both really enjoyed it. Dave and the lads must be doing something right.
