I first saw Hawkwind in the early to mid 70’s twice at Reading Festival and at Leeds University. I never did buy the Lemmy a Quid T Shirt at Leeds.
Motörhead I saw them at the, Fforde Green Pub in Leeds. It was free in! Walked into the Taproom and Lemmy, was sat there drinking a bottle of, Carlsberg Special. Got talking and he said the band didn’t have any plectrums with them, and could I ask around and get some. Well I did get some, walked into the dressing room. And there was Eddie, Phil, and Lemmy completely naked passing a joint around. What a crazy night. Motörhead were excellent too😀🎸
