Hi everyone. I was browsing ‘Album of the Year’ to try and dig deeper into the Hawkwind discography. I right now see the top 10 albums by popular vote are the following:
1) Hall of the Mountain Grill (1974)
2) Doremi Fasol Latido (1972)
3) Warrior on the Edge of Time (1975)
4) In Search of Space (1971)
5) Levitation (1980)
6) Hawkwind (1970)
7) PXR5 (1975)
8) Electric Teepee (1992)
9) The Chronicle of the Black Sword (1985)
10) Night of the Hawk (1989)
Would your top 10 also be the same? Should some of Hawkwind’s albums from this millennium be on there instead? Interested to know your thoughts!

That’s a good list, though everyone will have a different opinion on the order. I’d add a couple of things - the latest album - There Is No Space For Us - deserves to be on that list - not just my view - check the reviews online and the ratings at ProgArchives (dot) com
Secondly Hawkwind is a fantastic live band/festival band - so it’s also worth checking out some of their live albums. I’d give a special mention to Space Ritual , Live Chronicles, and the most recent: Live At The Royal Albert Hall!
